FY-20A can work in the following three modes.
Mode 1 : the closed mode of FY-20A ( manual mode). All the control of the model plane is determined by the manipulator. FY-20A does not participate in control.
Mode 2: the 3D mode. In this mode, FY-20A will give a controlling signal to keep the present attitude of the model plane, but it only stabilizes the control of three axes. So you can easily operate your model plane to complete a kind of movements steady.
Mode 3: Auto balance mode. FY-20A flight Stabilization System will give a controlling signal automatically to amend the model plane to the horizontal attitude once it detected the change between the present attitude and the horizontal attitude.

The following parts are for the user of FY-20A, please read it carefully.
1. FY-20A Working principle
FY-20A measures the present flying attitude through the inertial platform which consists of three axis gyroscope and tri-axial accelerometer. when is under the balance controlling , FY-20A will control the pitch attitude through elevating rudder , the roll attitude through ailerons and stably the course through the rudder .when the flight attitude out of the level ,the balance apparatus will give relevant of auto control gains to help the plane back to horizontal flight . when is in the 3D mode , the balance apparatus induce the rolling speed of three axis through gyroscope ,to show the auto control gain through relevant control rudder and prevent the rolling of each axis .So the plane will maintain the current attitude.

Gyroscope initialization:
The gyroscope of the balance apparatus normally does not need initialize. But once the bellowing situation happened, Please start initialization.
Ⅰ、Ban for a long time use .
Ⅱ、The temperature difference over 30 degrees after the using environments changed.
Ⅲ、In the auto balance mode,when horizontly arranged the balance apparatus , the control surface has deflection automatic.
The initialization process of the gyroscope: Put in the jumper for the gyroscope initialization. Power on the Flight Stabilization System and remains stationary, Keep it more than 20 seconds. Disconnect the power, unplug the jumper.
3. Application Connection Diagram
In gneral, the plane can auto back to balance when connected to the aileron channel and elevator channel, however connected to the rudder or not. When the rudder doesnt connect to the FY-20A, connecte the rudder to the direction channel of the receiver .Please refer to the following picture for connection. Assume the receivers channel 1 outputs the aileron servo, channel 2 outputs the elevator servo, channel 3 outputs the throttle servo, channel 4 outputs the rudder servo, channel 5 is the switch channel for controlling which mode that the FY-20A work at .
Attention: FY-20A does not provide the differential-mode function of elevator and direction.so the elevator and direction differential control V end plane must connect mixing device in the corroseponding differential channel
